As our Consulting Medical Writer, you will be focused on writing and creating a Regulatory dossier for our product. In this role, you will look through literature supporting nutritional requirements to help aid in the creation of the dossier
What You'll Do:
  • Work with our Senior Manager of Quality and Regulatory, legal team, and executive team to author a Regulatory Dossier for review by the FDA. This includes written and visual content 
  • Read, assimilate and write summaries of internal and external documents such as peer reviewed publications, protocols, clinical study reports, and clinical summaries
  • Review, revise, and manage documents prepared by cross functional area representatives and ensure adherence to deadlines
About You:
  • BS, MS, or doctorate in a life science, biomedical or nutrition field
  • 2-5+ years in the biotechnology/pharmaceutical industry including in-house experience, preferred
  • Proficiency in Google applications (e.g., Docs, Presentation, Sheets)
  • Demonstrated experience in medical writing, editing, and clinical development; has written CSR’s, IB’s, protocols, safety reports; worked on at least one eCTD/NDA submission, a plus

Whole Biome is seeking an experienced Cloud/DevOps Engineer or Senior Cloud/DevOps Engineer with strong Amazon Web Services experience to work collaboratively with our Software Engineers and Data Scientists to build, test, deploy and monitor cloud and laboratory software services, recommend and implement security and performance best practices, and provide  R&D systems support.
What You'll Do
  • Deploy and manage cloud services using AWS and GCPOwn CI/CD process
  • Help automate and streamline our computational pipeline

We are hiring several Fermentation Technicians to join our Manufacturing team and support our company’s endeavor on it’s path to commercialization. Reporting to our technical lead of Manufacturing, you will operate large scale fermenters to meet production supplies for clinical trial studies and commercialization. You will work closely with our Manufacturing, Quality, and Compute teams. Our ideal candidate brings previous experience in a bioprocess/biotechnology setting, enjoys working with  precision and brings kindness and passion to their work.
What You'll Do:
  • Weekly setup, running, and tear down of large scale fermentors including monitoring of in-process fermentation, and ensuring batch records are filled out accurately and completely.
  • Weigh out chemicals and prepare medium and/or buffer solutions following detailed instructions.
  • Assist in monitoring of manufacturing inventory and preventative maintenance of process equipment
  • Assist in seed train propagation and downstream processing of fermentors (e.g. centrifugation)
  • Ensure standard operating procedures are followed and reviewed
  • Ensure department is clean and organized at all times and free of hazards and safety violations, maintain areas in high state of inspection preparedness
  • Maintain records and clean room environment to comply with regulatory requirements utilizing current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
About You:
  • AA or BA/BS in a technical field (biotechnology, chemical engineering, bioengineering, microbiology, biochemistry), and 1+ year of experience in an industrial setting
  • Equivalent experience will be considered in lieu of the above requirement
  • Familiarity with bench scale fermentation units including those from PALL, Sartorius, DASGIP, Applikon and New Brunswick (Eppendorf)
  • Must be able to occasionally work off hours and weekends
  • Must have attention to detail and strong experience in aseptic techniques.
  • Must communicate with transparency and must be a team player
  • Must be proficient in Google suite and/or Microsoft Office
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs and stand for long periods at a time
Nice to Have:
  • Experience in cGMP manufacturing environment is a plus

Working in partnership and collaboration with an external agency and our internal marketing team, you will have full ownership over the development and launch of our e-commerce site. Reporting to our VP of Growth Marketing, you will contribute to the Whole Biome mission through designing, developing and managing our e-commerce site, while also owning our marketing technology stack.
What You'll Do
  • Own the development and launch of Whole Biome’s e-commerce site. This will include feature roadmap, wireframes, and the design element. 
  • Develop and execute a strategy surrounding the customer shopping experience, using insights and data to make this solution relevant and sales focused
  • Propose and develop new feature development and site enhancements to deliver consistently improved customer experience while continuously improving KPIs.
  • Maintain knowledge of e-commerce backend, feature integrations, products, and services while also recommending new products and enhancements. Look to continuously improve our e-commerce site’s operational efficiency and excellence
  • Manage and monitor all e-commerce product development requests and projects, driving progress and hitting all key timelines
  • Manage outsourced development teams to ensure quality of work, project efficiency and timelines.

What You'll Do
  • Own the Procurement process of direct and indirect procurement items: lab consumables, wet lab equipment, IT computers, etc
  • Establish and maintain working relationships with vendors and ensure cost effectiveness in terms of product quality, pricing and lead time
  • Evaluate and qualify new suppliers and vendors for quality and cost effectiveness; Vendor management
  • Train new Whole Biome employees on Point Purchasing, our PO system
  • Process invoices with accounts payable and assist in reports
  • Coordinate credits, refund and claims as needed
  • Interface with leaders across multiple departments
  • Own the process of creating and modifying POs
  • Oversee the entire procurement process, from requisition to receipt of goods/services, and ensure timely delivery

As one of the first members of our Finance team, the Senior Accountant will assist with all aspects of the company’s close process, from preparation and posting of journal entries, to publishing financial statements. What You'll Do:
  • Be responsible for month-end, quarter end, and year end close procedures (account reconciliations and roll forward schedules)
  • Assist with financial reporting related to projects
  • Be responsible for fixed asset accounting
  • Be responsible for the cost accounting system
  • Oversee physical inventory counts
  • Assist with revenue accounting
  • Perform fluctuation analysis for monthly reporting deliverables

As our Senior Director, Scientific Affairs, you will work directly with our Chief Medical Officer and members of the Clinical Department to provide medical support for clinical development activities, provide scientific/medical/clinical/support for marketing, serve as a resource for R & D, and pursue external academic relationships.




What You'll Do:
Medical Support:
  • Provide medical oversight and clinical support for clinical studies
  • Participate in crafting study designs and analysis plans
  • Provide medical and clinical expertise for support of company activities Under supervision of the Chief Medical Officer, co-author and coordinate manuscript preparation for submission to high quality scientific journals
  • Establish and maintain an efficient, collaborative relationship with all internal functions
Medical Marketing Support:
  • Assist with studies to support marketing
  • Provide scientific and medical input to marketing messages
  • Create and maintain an integrated publication plan
  • Support the creation of various science-based white papers
Medical Affairs Activities:
  • Educate the medical and academic communities regarding the microbiome
  • Identify and develop relationships with key academic investigators who are potential collaborators
